A PERFECTLY CONSTRUCTED ALIBI Hayley needed to get away from Klaus and the Mikaelson's because the curse was taking it's toll on her. She was considered a threat, but when Klaus spoke to her, and said that she could hurt her daughter that made Hayley snap. It was then when Hayley punched Klaus leaving heading out to the bayou where she could be free. Elijah, had not been around and with Tatia who is currently staying with the Mikaelson's it was annoying, but also dealing with Elijah's ex was something Hayley didn't have time for.
The bayou was peaceful no one bothered her, and her pack was off somewhere dealing with the next threat that was coming to attack her family. She blamed the Mikaelson's for everything they are the reason her daughter is gone, and though Hayley blames them, she loved them all the same. Perhaps, the curse that Katherine had put on her was the reason Hayley's instincts was wild. Pacing back and forth outside the cabin where she currently stayed since the curse had plagued her, and Hayley knew she would attack Tatia.
Katherine was going to go down that much Hayley knew, and she will make sure that everyone who gets in her way will be taken down. Moving inside the cabin with a gentle sigh, she missed Elijah very much and felt like right now she needed someone who wouldn't judge her. It was bad enough Freya already jumped onto her, and Klaus had the tone to threaten that she would hurt her daughter. Elijah always defended her which was something she was fond of, but she was growing close to the suited Original, but Hayley knew Klaus was not fond of Hayley being with Elijah.
Heading to the fireplace, Hayley lit a fire watching the darken cabin fill with light from the dancing flames, and that seemed to bring some kind of peace to her exhausted body. Reaching for the bottle of whiskey and glass perched above the fireplace, Hayley poured herself a drink finding a seat near the fire nursing her liquor.

The tension in the quarter had grown too intense for the elder, the reappearance of two of his ex lovers doing little but strain his relationship with not only his siblings, but with Hayley, the nightmares returning with a vengeance and with Tatia walking around his home with no recollection of what he had put her through, it only served to torture him further. Of course things had been worse when he had distanced himself, taking to their old house on the outskirts of the city, though that did little but provide him with more reasons to suffer, images of his new love for Hayley and yet another loss of his niece only adding fuel to an already too large fire. Though he knew already that he’d spent far too long here, that he was going to need to face the music sooner or later but despite that knowledge, it still took him several weeks to return to his family.
Little had he known that in his absence, tensions grew between everyone else. He should have suspected, peace was a gift he knew little of. If there wasn’t a wild scheme in play, there would certainly be squabbling, and without him there to at least attempt to call to his sibling’s reasonable sides, it appeared they had successfully managed to push Hayley from her home and her family. Her presence was somewhat of a threat, that was undeniable, the curse unpredictable at best. Though he truly believed that what she needed most now was not to be pushed aside, but supported, and with a shake of his head, he took off to the Bayou, confident he knew where she’d seek refuge.
Waiting in the treeline, he watched the cabin for a time, only descending onto the porch when he caught a brief glimpse of Hayley through the curtained window, the warm glow of the fire drawing him in, dusk already having turned to night by the time he’d reached her old quarters. Out of everyone, he felt a little guilty that he’d missed the sight of the hybrid the most, having grown far too attached to the mother of his niece, certain that Niklaus would have his reservations, having already made it painfully clear on several occasions that he was aware of Elijah’s contained feelings, though he imagined he’d become a little more unpleasant if he ever found out he was to act on them.
Inhaling deeply, a warm smile touched his lips as a fist lifted to knock on the wood, putting a little distance between himself and the door, body turned toward the expanse of water by his side, the moon glowing on its surface. Of course, he was uncertain about how she would take his sudden reappearance if she demanded peace he would respectfully retreat. Though he couldn’t believe that she wanted solace in all the chaos that was unfolding. Despite the werewolf presence being high in the area, and they were as much family to Hayley as the Mikaelson’s are, they were not as involved in the current happenings here. They needed to stick together. She would need someone who would understand. He only hoped he could provide her with that comfort.

Why is it you make me better Hayley knew right away who was at her front door, Elijah just his smell and scent was enough for the hybrid to know he was probably checking up on her. Sighing the last thing Hayley wanted was for Elijah to see her looking this way vulnerable, something Hayley was not accustomed to being, but everything seems to be falling around her. She couldn't explain what Elijah does to her it's like she wants him, but at the same time her hybrid also wants something else as well.
How did he find her? Hayley had not told anyone where she was going, but Elijah knew her better then most of his family combined. When it came to Klaus, Hayley knew how protective he could be, and of course she knew the hybrid did not approve of Elijah and his feelings for her, but at the same time he couldn't fault the both of them. In a way she had feelings for both brothers, but in many different ways.
The sun started to set as howling could be heard from the bayou it seems the moon was approaching very soon, but that didn't phase her she had other things to worry about. Like the suited Original who was tapping on her door at the very moment. Why didn't he just walk in? What was the purpose of knocking? He knew she was in there, but Hayley did remember Elijah was always the proper gentleman unlike the rest of his siblings that were animals. Putting her drink down, Hayley collected herself not wanting Elijah just see how this curse was affecting her, but should he be here since the moon was coming, and that would be bad with the curse plagued on her.
Hayley looked out the window knowing she only had a few hours if most before her wolf was going to come out, and maybe having Elijah here would be a good thing so she wouldn't hurt innocent people in the quarter. Walking to the door, Hayley opened the screen door walking out to stand beside Elijah. "You shouldn't be here the full moon will be rising soon" She said softly gazing to the moon breathing heavily a bit, but trying to relax. maybe Elijah's presence would help. "Your going to get yourself killed out here you know" She said looking to him with a soft smile. "What are you doing here honestly Elijah?"

The moment the familiar voice floated from the doorway, his head ducked, a quick glance in her direction as a warm smile tugged at the corners of his lips, her mere presence seeming to ease his restless mind, a calm he’d not experience with many in his life particularly potent with the young hybrid. Muscles visibly relaxing as his head lifted once more, gaze cast across the sky, uncertain how he could have missed the signs. Several moons had risen in his absence, though he’d lost track of it’s cycle.
“In my defence, I thought we had a few days before the next full moon, not a few hours,” He breathed, voice a low hum in the back of his throat. He was content and it showed, glad that Hayley hadn’t turned him away, instead filled with her usual selfless concern for his actions. His sibling’s thoughts of her curse seemed more than a little over exaggerated. Her dismissal one he fully intended to have revoked the moment he returned home.
Body turning, he leaned back against the railing casually, gaze trailing her slowly, looking for any signs of harm, that the curse was consuming her as had been dramatically suggested and seeing little more than an exhausted hybrid. “Honestly?” He asked softly, offering her a reassuring smile. “Honestly, I just came here to check on you. I heard what happened, and though I do believe this curse that’s been placed on you could cause us all some trouble, I do not agree that you should be out here on your own. You’re family, Hayley. You need to be supported, not abandoned, and I refuse to leave you out here to deal with all of this by yourself,” he stated simply, sighing as he pushed himself to his feet, approaching her slowly. “I understand if you wish to be alone, I’ll respect that, all you have to do is say. But please know, you are always welcome at home. And I’d like to stay here a while, if you’d like the company?”

Why is it you make me better Why was it Elijah's presence was always comforting even when he doesn't need to say anything? Hayley always knew she felt a connection to Elijah, but also wondered how he knew what happened at the house just moments ago when Freya had decided to open her mouth, and Klaus was no better. Looking over to Elijah, Hayley softly took her hand resting it on his own sighing in content. “In my defense, I thought we had a few days before the next full moon, not a few hours,” Maybe that was true, but Katherine was the one to blame for that, Hayley turned to fully face Elijah listening to his words. "You can thank your ex Katherine for that, and I would have longer, but this curse only brings out the wolf more" She said bitterly clearly not happy with what has happened to her, and maybe there was no way she could be fixed. "You're brother and sister clearly displeased that I choose to keep my daughter safe away from everyone, and leaving her with Caroline was bad. Though now my daughter has a normal life away from all this, and yet they can fault me"
That was the one thing she loved about Elijah he would support her through anything as she gripped his hand tightly, and took some deep breaths feeling the moon call to her. "I'm scared, Elijah I don't know what this curse will do, but for a few hours I won't be me" She said gently resting her head on his shoulder feeling his warmth, since it was getting chilly outside coming night. "I won't go back to that house just to get threatened by Klaus to be killed, and he had the nerve to say that I would harm our daughter" Hayley spoke bitterly with a scowl at the fight she had with Klaus not even that long ago. "You need to talk to your sister, Freya she giving me judgmental looks because I did what was best" That was all Hayley was going to say about it. Keeping hold of his hand, Hayley ushered Elijah inside, shutting the screen door behind her pulling him toward the couch near the fireplace. She pulled him down to sit beside her wanting the warmth of the fire.
"If I am family then why is it that I feel like I don't get treated as that Elijah, and yes sure the only reason I am part of this family is because of Hope, she has yours and also my bloodline" Hayley said gently stroking Elijah's hand shutting her eyes for the moment, but also attempting to keep the wolf at bay for right now. "We need to find away to break this curse Elijah or I am not safe around anyone it's taking all my will power not to snap right now" Hayley didn't know what she would become once the moon sets, and they only had a few hours together. "Don't leave me please" Hayley said gently almost in a whisper, but enough for him to hear. You need to be supported, not abandoned, and I refuse to leave you out here to deal with all of this by yourself,” He was sweet always thinking of her, and of course she nod her head in agreement. "I just hate for you to see the animal side of me, and I don't want to hurt you" Hayley honestly was scared, but she knew with Elijah maybe she could get through this change together.
"Want a drink with me at least maybe I can numb the pain that is going to happen once again I will be forced to change" Hayley had dealt with this before thanks to Klaus and Daliah, but not with Katherine it seems to only be worse than better. Reaching on the end table for the bottle of scotch she had nursed all night, and took two glasses pouring herself and Elijah a drink, reaching for his glass she handed it to him. "I hope your ready to see me in very much pain" Hayley chuckled trying to make light of a serious trouble that was going to cause her pain.

I'm bad luck baby, you know. Follows me around everywhere I go. “Klaus and Freya are just concerned, Hayley, that’s all. It’s a Mikaelson fault, we are all incredibly protective of our own, even among our own. Though that doesn’t mean I agree with their actions. You should have never have been left to feel you’re not welcome in our home. You’re part of this family now too, which means you are to be as protected as the rest of us,” Elijah whispered softly, silently damning his siblings for their actions, of course they were all worried, he was too, but Hayley was Hope’s mother. Surely is anyone were to be trusted with the safety of Hope, it’d be Hayley. And if she trusted Caroline, then they had no business arguing the point.
In his mind, Caroline was the perfect option for Hope. Not only would she be around two other girls who were developing their magical abilities, giving her the chance to grow and learn alongside them. But she had a protector in Caroline that not even Elijah could fault. Though his dealings with the young vampire had been relatively brief in Mystic Falls, he was confident she was more than up to the task of caring for Hope. For keeping her safe. She was about as selfless as you could find these days and a mother by nature. “I don’t fault you, Hayley. I believe leaving Hope with Caroline Forbes was a better idea than most. Hope will be as safe with her as she would with us.”
Blinking softly in surprise when he felt the warm hand grasp his own, his dark gaze slid over Hayley’s face, releasing a slow breath when she found comfort in his shoulder. Of course, he wished he could do more for her, the curse affecting her more negatively than anyone would care to notice, his jaw twitching as he attempted to think of the reason Katherine would do this. Most probably to punish him, that seemed the most logical. Hand turning, his fingers parted to link gently with Hayley’s, the other lifting to brush lightly down her back, lips pressed softly to her forehead, attempting to comfort her the best he could, to take her mind off of what was to come. “I know you’re scared, but you don’t have reason to be.I’ll make sure that no matter what I keep your attention. I’d rather you attack me, I can heal. And I can run quicker than you,” he offered with a soft smile, allowing her to guide him into the warmth of the cabin, taking a seat beside her with a low hum. “Don’t you worry about Klaus and Freya, I will be having words with them both when I return home.”
A soft frown formed on his brow as he listened to Hayley, gaze fixed on her face, clearly displeased that she’d been lead to believe that Hope was the only reason she had become part of their family. Of course, she was who linked them all, though Hayley had done far more to prove she was a Mikaelson than giving birth to Klaus’ child. “You’re a part of this family because you understand what loyalty is. You have fought for us when others would run. You stand with us in times like this. When we all need to stick together. This is what makes you family, Hayley. Not because of Hope. Because of you...” He reassured with a soft smile. “And I am working on lifting this curse, I give you my word. I just need to think of a way to draw Katherine out of Mystic Falls and when I do, I will barter for this curse to be lifted. No matter what I do, though. I need you to trust me. Even if you believe I’ve lost my mind.”
Hand sliding from Hayley’s when she moved to get them both a drink, his heart swelled at the whispered request, it so soft he’d almost convinced himself that she hadn’t uttered it at all. Fingers taking the glass delicately from hers before reaching out with the other, he brushed her hair behind her shoulder, studying her closely, thumb tracing her jaw lightly, the sentiment brief but he knew it didn’t have to be more. “I won’t leave you alone, and I’m never ready to see you in any amount of pain,” he breathed softly in return before sitting back on the sofa, thumb dancing around the rim of his glass before lifting it to his lips, taking a sip of the amber liquid. Of course seeing the young hybrid in pain would do little to ease him, though he’d do all he had to distract her from it any way he knew how. They had all night, after all.

Why is it you make me better Hayley knew Elijah understood where she was coming from and Caroline was the best, but it also gave Hope a chance of a happy life something she could not provide her. "Exactly, Caroline has two daughters and the last I heard, Hope is living a happy life with girls her own age. She has friends Elijah and plays sports everything I ever wanted for her, but Klaus and Freya don't understand why I did it. No child deserves to live the life we have" Hayley said knowing what she said was true, but honestly right now it was not safe for Elijah to be around her in the state she was in. Sitting down beside him again curling closer with her head on his shoulder, Hayley took a drink of her liquor hearing the moon whisper. "I hear the moon you know it's wanting me to shift to bring out the animal side, but I am going to fight it" She squeezed his hand quite hard knowing the change would be here not even in the next few hours. Hayley listened to his words knowing she was part of that family, and she did do a lot for them more than what she should have done, but Hayley cared for each of them in her own way.
"I gave up a lot for your family Elijah, and you are right I am part of this family, but it also brings destruction which is something we allowed. Katherine will try anything with you don't put yourself in harms way because of me" Hayley said turning to gently cup Elijah's face in her hands. "You will not put yourself in harms way because of me. I rather have this curse then her putting a single finger on you Elijah." Hayley said firmly making sure Elijah knew she did not want him to do this for her. Though leaning her head against his, she gasped quickly standing up moving toward the window seeing the moon was rising as her breathing was becoming hard just a bit. Hayley could feel tingles along her body as she moved back toward Elijah playing as if nothing was wrong sitting nestled close to him. "It's coming my body is on fire" She said in between gasps breathing more, as she reached for her tumbler glass only to smash it within her hand. "Elijah get out of here" Gripping his hand hard the feeling was like acid seeping inside of her eating it's way out.
Her eyes started to turn a hint of yellow as cracks could be heard throughout her body as she turned to grip Elijah by the lapels of his suit looking to him. "Make the pain stop please" She said in between cries Katherine had made it a much more pain then it should be. It was like as if her wolf was bursting through with vengeance, but she refused to change into a wolf, and that was possible, but it be very painful. Right now the only thing she felt was heat, and burning as if she needed someone right then and there, and Elijah poor victim would be her next target. Not even giving him time to react, Hayley bounced straddling his waist with a wicked growl.
She started to rip his tie off tossing it on the ground, and quickly worked on shedding him of his jacket by force if she had to but his jacket was coming off. Her lips found his throat softly kissing tender parts that she knew always got to him. Ripping the jacket she started to work on the buttons of his shirt, and softly running her hands down his chest with a possessive growl. Harshly biting his throat to show dominance, Hayley was not in her right mind set right now.

I'm bad luck baby, you know. Follows me around everywhere I go. Releasing a soft sigh, Elijah would never deny that he missed his niece perhaps deeper than any of his siblings, with the exception of Klaus, of course. Though despite the ache he felt to see her again, he also understood that Hayley wanted what was best for her daughter. It’s what every parent pushed for, even if what was best meant sending them away for a short time to experience life. He couldn’t blame her for that. Hope was happy, she was living, and she was safe. That’s all that mattered to him. If she had all that, then he could be content.
Arm sliding around slender shoulders as Hayley settled against his side, he studied her face closely a moment, uncertain how that must feel, to have the moon call to you, to have it control you, the fight that must be waging in her body. Though he was glad that she was choosing to fight. It must be so easy to just give in, to let it consume. Surely it’d be less painful?
“I’m aware of the shortfalls that come with being a Mikaelson, Hayley, and I wish I could reassure you that this would be the only bought of chaos you will experience by our sides. But I’m afraid it would most likely be a lie. Trouble follows us, and Katherine has followed us for many years. I truly believed that Katerina was still in there, that Katherine was just this cold exterior she had adopted to toughen her up for the world we exist in now, but I’m afraid I may have been mistaken. The Katerina I knew? She would never do something like this. It doesn’t matter what reason could ever surface, she just... She would never do this,” he whispered, frown deep with the worry of what was to come, knowing this wouldn’t be the end, tongue running across his lips. Though his anger seemed to ease some when he felt the soft touch to his face, eyes meeting Hayley’s, smile replacing the frown. “I’m afraid that’s a promise I can’t keep. She’ll listen to me, I’ll sort this out. I promise. The curse will be lifted and you’ll be free to see your daughter without her being on your tail. I will sort this.”
Concerned frown tugging at his brown when Hayley stood with a gasp, dark eyes were fixed on her as she moved to peer out of the window, studying her face closely as she moved back to her previous position, hand coming up to brush her forehead gently. “Are you okay, we can...” He trailed off when the tumbler suddenly smashed in her grasp, shaking his head quickly as he turned to face her, hand cupping her face, the other in her vice like grip, not daring to let go. “I’m not going anywhere, Hayley, I told you. I won’t leave you alone. You can fight this, I know you can. Just fight it...” He encouraged, worry clear as the sound of cracking bones filled the room, wincing as she writhed in pain, wishing he could do anything to take it away. To experience it for her so she didn’t have to, fingers wrapping around her wrists as she gripped his jacket. “I wish I could, Hayley. I wish I could... Just fight--”
Words cut off the moment Hayley swung into his lap and began fighting with his tie, lips parted softly, puzzled by her actions, hands hovering inches from her waist, uncertain what had triggered the sudden desperation in her body. “Hayley... What are you doing?” He whispered, frowning when her lips began to work at his neck, each gentle kiss stealing his breath as his resolve began to crumble, throat pressing into eager lips. “Hayley...” The warning tone evident though she didn’t seem to ease up, chest rising and falling quickly beneath her fingers, the bite pulling a growl from deep in his chest and he had them across the room in the blink of an eye, hands gripping the hybrid’s waist tightly, keeping her pinned to the wall as lips sought out hers in a claiming kiss, mind finally caving to his body’s desires.
And oh how he’d wanted this for so very long.

Why is it you make me better Hayley only heard bit and pieces of what Elijah was saying, but the moment his voice came out in a warning, Hayley knew that she got him right where she wanted him. Letting out a gasp in surprise that he would swish them against the wall hard, her legs wrapping around his waist as her lips found his in a hard, dominant kiss. "We shouldn't.." Though Hayley was not listening to those words at all, and the way Elijah could control the situation only brought out the hybrid in her more. At this point his shirt was shredded by her nails tossing everything of his to the ground other then his pants, but feeling the dominance of him pinning her to the wall.
Hayley was not one to let a male take control as she pushed him quite hard enough to push him to the ground. Quickly straddling his waist with a growl one hand on his throat, and the other snaking it's way down his chest with teasing movement. "Nu uh it doesn't work that way Elijah" Her golden eyes looked at him as if she was trying not to change into a wolf before him. Of course, Hayley knew he liked to be in control just as Klaus did, but here he was alone with her, and she was honestly surprised he gave in so soon. "Seems like the noble gentleman really isn't at all. I knew you wanted something" Her teeth nipped at his jugular tugging on the skin between her teeth kissing him roughly keeping the Original pinned underneath her. At this point all caution out the window went for Hayley she now had what she wanted, and her hybrid could not be more excited, and when she felt his hands grip her thighs that only excited her more.
"Behave yourself" She whispered against his throat as her lips moved to his in a searing painful kiss this was not the gentle Hayley oh no she was gone now. Her hands softly ran down his chest as her head lowered kissing at his chest happy that they were near the fireplace to keep warm. "You know you can stop this"Was this taking advantage? Maybe for both of them, but their bodies wanted something more, and this wasn't going to be gentle in the least.
Hayley stopped for a moment looking into his eyes as her eyes shifted back to normal, and her hand softly moved toward his lips tracing them with her fingers this was still Hayley, but he would also be able to sense a vulnerability something that she was fighting with, but Hayley knew what she wanted. "Tell me to stop Elijah" The question was asked quietly as she waited for his response letting her long hair fall down in curls down her back, and keeping him pinned first her jacket came off, and smirking with a smile. Was this wrong to take advantage of Elijah? yes, but right now Hayley didn't give a care both of them wanted this even if it's under different circumstances.
